LIV LANSERIA PROGRAMS
LIV LANSERIA FAMILIES
LIV is about the restoration of family, a safe environment where the children entrusted to us are placed in a home with a mother and father to love them, with new brothers and sisters, and where all their needs are met. A place where they can grow and then be released as stars into the world. We can provide for up to 10 God Parent families living at LIV Lanseria. Each family consists of between 4 to 6 children. The Department of Social Development places each child with a suitable God Parent family, by court order.
LIV LANSERIA ECD
As a community development organization, we aim to help disadvantaged and vulnerable children in our local communities. This is the main reason why LIV Lanseria started a preschool. At LIV we believe that the basis of success in education is a good grounding; especially between the ages of 2 and 6. Mental, emotional, spiritual and physical development is crucial at these ages.
LIV LANSERIA BABY HOME
El Roi Baby Home opened its doors in October 2012. Named for “the God who sees us”, El Roi is a place where we provide a safe and loving home for babies on their way to adoption with help from Abba Adoptions. We are seeking to create a home environment where our babies receive all of the things they need to have a healthy, loving and balanced start to life. This is done through intentional bonding therapy and kangaroo care, daily one-on-one stimulation and physical therapies, on-site medical supervision and quality staffing.
LIV LANSERIA AFTER SCHOOL
The end of July 2015 marked the launch of our Ithuteng Community After Care Centre and Recycle Project, which offers structured educational support to over 160 children who live in the nearby Joe Slovo Informal Settlement (Lanseria). We are so excited about this project and would like to extend an opportunity to you to join hands with LIV Lanseria and the Joe Slovo community because as the name of the project says, ‘Come, now is the time to learn’.
LIV LANSERIA VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers play a vital role in the life of the village. LIV Lanseria provides opportunity for people from around the world to spend time on the village, serving in the various departments.
LIV Lanseria also offer corporate team building days, which are an excellent social investment opportunity for any business or organisational groups.
A 12-month discipleship program focusing on identity, vision and serving LIV Lanseria and the local community.
The LIV2Serve students will gain an understanding of missions, discipleship and equipping for their future. They will enroll in the South African Theological Seminary to do the accredited cross roads course, Alpha course and various other Spiritual enriching programs.
